The internet does not need another site that calls everything “the best.” The Longevity Cut exists because most beauty, skincare, and supplement “reviews” are written to sell, not to inform. We do it differently.
Who we are
The Longevity Cut is an independent editorial team with a background on the clinical and professional side of aesthetics and wellness. We read product labels and research the way a practitioner would — dose and ingredients first, evidence second, marketing last. We publish under a collective team name rather than individual bylines, but every recommendation is grounded in the standards below.
What we evaluate
For every product we cover, we look at:
- Does the evidence support the claim? We favor ingredients and devices with real human research, and we say plainly when the science is early or thin.
- Is the dose or specification meaningful? A studied ingredient at an unstudied (too-low) dose is marketing, not medicine.
- Formulation and quality. Purity, third-party testing, and transparency from the brand.
- Real-world usability. The best product is the one you’ll actually use consistently.
- Value. Price relative to what it actually delivers — not price as a proxy for quality.
Our independence
- We are reader-supported through affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Commissions never determine our recommendations.
- Brands cannot pay to be featured or to receive a positive review.
- We routinely tell readers to skip a product, wait, or see a licensed provider when that is the honest answer. We would rather lose a sale than lose your trust.
Not medical advice
Our content is for general educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Individual results and suitability vary. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new product, supplement, device, or treatment — especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition.
